Lunar Midwifery is a heart-centered practice that honors the power and wisdom of the birthing journey. Founded by licensed midwife Amber Gaddy, the team provides thoughtful, evidence-based care tailored to each family’s needs. Rooted in connection and respect, Lunar Midwifery supports families through pregnancy, home birth, and postpartum with the belief that every birth deserves to be safe, supported, and sacred.
Amber's path to midwifery was inspired by her own experience as a mother and the care she received during her pregnancies. An experienced doula, she later became a licensed midwife and made it her mission to provide personalized, compassionate care to every family she works with. She believes that birth is a natural and transformative experience, and she works closely with families to create a safe, supportive environment. Amber founded Lunar Midwifery with the goal of offering families a space where they feel truly heard and respected in their birth journey.
Mariah’s passion for birth work began at a young age, and she’s been dedicated to supporting families ever since. As a student midwife, Mariah is deeply committed to learning from each family’s unique experience. She draws on her background as a doula to offer calm and steady support during pregnancy and birth. Mariah’s approach is grounded in empathy and respect for each family’s choices, and she feels honored to be a part of their journey. Outside of midwifery, Mariah enjoys spending time with her family, baking, and embracing her creative side.
